Empieza en Galicia la temporada de la rapa das bestas. La rapa consiste en cortar las crines de los caballos que, durante el año, han estado pastando en el monte en libertad. Esta acción se hace en un recinto cerrado llamado curro. Se realiza en diversas localidades gallegas. También donde vivo yo actualmente, el cual se celebra el primer domingo de agosto. Hasta ahora no he ido nunca, pero me parece que este año me voy a animar y subiré hasta Santo Tomé a verlo, ya que posiblemente no tenga oportunidad en bastante tiempo.
