Esta última semana ha sido para Hideo una semana muy interesante, no sólo por causa del trabajo, en la planta de la empresa en Tilburg (Holanda) sino porque ha sido su contacto más directo con la sociedad europea. Diréis que ya ha estado conviviendo conmigo y debería estar más que acostumbrado, pero es una situación muy diferente. Mientras que anteriormente fui yo la que se trasladó a Japón y me adapté al modus vivendi nipón (aunque en el apartamento, al ser nuestro hogar, es un mix de ambas culturas), ahora Hideo es el que se debe habituar al modus vivendi europeo.
Estos días nos comunicamos por la noche y creedme que es maravilloso estar viviendo en la misma franja horaria. Ahora cuando decimos “buenas noches” es “buenas noches” para los dos. Es durante estas conversaciones donde Hideo me cuenta sus impresiones. Y es que Holanda lo está dejando muy impresionado, para lo bueno y para lo malo.
En sucesivas entradas os iré contando todo aquello que le llama la atención, que es mucho e interesante.

This last week was very interesting for Hideo, not only for his work, in the plant of his company in Tilburg (Holland). It was because this is his first direct contact with european society. You could think that he was living with me in Japan, so he must be accostumated, but the situation is different. When I was in Japan I had to addapt my life style to Japan (but inside our appartment is a mix of both cultures), and nor Hideo is who have to addapt to european life style.
During these days we can talk at night and believe me, it’s wonderful for us to live without time difference. When we say “good night” is “good night” for both. It’s during these conversations when Hideo explain me his impressions. Because Europe is a different place, with good things and no so good things.
On coming posts I will write about all this, because It’s much and interesting.
