Un largo viaje hacia mi tierra

El lunes 16 salimos muy temprano (serían las 7:30am, más o menos). Nos esperaba un largo viaje en coche hasta Cataluña. No íbamos directamente hasta Barcelona, sino que hicimos parada en casa de mis tíos en Vila-Rodona (Tarragona).
Mi padre decidió hacer el camino por el norte, porque hay mucho tramo de autovía. Paramos a desayunar en un pueblo de Asturias y allí tuve mi pequeña anécdota o más bien desgracia. Perdí uno de mis llaveros de Hello Kitty… Me di cuenta de su ausencia (lo llevaba colgando del bolso) dos horas después de reanudar nuestro viaje

A Vila-Rodona llegamos sobre las 18:30pm. Nos relajamos, compramos en la cooperativa del pueblo (aceite de oliva alberquina y carquinyolis !!), cenamos y a dormir.
Al día siguiente fuimos hasta la localidad de Centelles (Osona) a visitar a mi abuelo. Lo vi bastante bien, aunque mucho más sordo (lleva aparato pero a mi me da que lo lleva apagado 
). Estuvimos toda la mañana con mi abuelo y su mujer y luego fuimos a comer a un restaurante cercano. Luego ya me despedí de ellos; mi padre volvía al día siguiente pero a mi ya me era imposible. No sé cuando les volveré a ver. Lo veo complicado por la avanzada edad que tienen y que cuando Hideo y yo podamos venir a España, lo más seguro es que vengamos directos a Galicia, pero bueno…nunca se sabe.

Bajamos hasta Barcelona donde nos esperaba el hotel, un hotel muy chulo, a primera línea de playa y con unas vistas estupendas. Fui a dar una vuelta por el centro y luego cogí un autobús hasta la Bonanova, donde trabajé durante unos años en una clínica veterinaria. Esa noche iba a cenar a casa de una de mis compañeras y pasé a recogerla. Mucha alegria y muchos recuerdos. En su casa hablamos de mi futura vida en Japón y recordamos muchas vivencias en la clínica. Nos reímos mucho !!
Emi y Juan Carlos con sus dos niños. Hideo se alegró mucho de verles de nuevo, aunque fuera en fotografia, ya que guarda un grato recuerdo de ellos de nuestra anterior estancia en Barcelona.

Luego, al hotel, que el día había sido muy largo !!!

On Monday 16th we left Ferreira early morning (over 7:30am). We had a long trip by car to Cataluña. We wanted to stop our trip in Vila-Rodona village (Tarragona), where my uncle and aunt are living.
My father decided to drive on north way, because almost way is high-way. We stopped to eat breakfast in Asturias and I had my first story there because I lost a Hello Kitty doll. I missed it after two hours (it was holding on my bag).
We arrived to Vila-Rodona at 18:30pm. We relaxed, bought some food in the village shop (olive oil and carquinyolis (traditional catalan cookie)), we ate dinner and let’s sleep !.
On next day we went to Centelles, the village where my grandfather is living. I could see him pretty well, but he can’t hear much (he has a hearing aid but i think that the battery is off… ). We stayed with my grandfather and his wife all morning and after we went to a next restaurant. After that I said bye-bye to the; my father could come back on next day but for me was no possible. I don’t know when I can see them again. It’s difficult because they have much age and I know that when Hideo and I can come to Spain we will go to Galicia directly, but well…nobody knows.
We went at afternoon to Barcelona, to our hotel, a great hotel next to sea, with a beautiful view. I went to Barcelona’s center, to walk, and after I got a bus to the Bonanova area where I was working for some years in a veterinary clinic. I had to go to a collegue house, to eat dinner. Much happiness and many memories. We talked about my future life in Japan and we talked about our work in the clinic too. We laughed much !!
After, to the hotel…the day was very long !!!
